LS Power Generation (formerly LG Power Generation) was established in 1974 and is the No. 1 manufacturer of industrial electrical automation products in Korea.
LS also has branches in China, involving many industries, among which it also participates in the bidding business of China Power Grid. In order to improve competitiveness and solve fast and efficient order requirements, LS company’s strategy is the positioning of manufacturing in China, so LS started in 2018.
The strategic cooperation model established with GRL, OEM products are disconnect switch products, manual disconnect switch.
The isolating switch proposed by LS company is similar to abb isolator switch, which is modular in ABB style. The structure of GRL company is different. Although abb disconnect switch and GRL disconnect switch are different in structure, they can be completely replaced in function. After a series of tests, it is determined that GRL’s products have certain advantages. So far, GRL and LS have established a very good cooperative relationship.
