On the afternoon of November 3, 2023, the October Lean Improvement Project Review Meeting was held in the multifunctional hall on the third floor of Building 2 of the Company.
5S Monthly Review Summary
Ni Jufeng, Vice President of Operation, firstly made an analysis and summary of the monthly “5S” management situation. The summary mainly covers the problems and improvement measures in the administrative office, technology research and development, warehouse, workshop and lean improvement project.
Mr. Ni criticized and suggested the lack of anti-corrosion measures for plating materials and timely maintenance of damaged equipment, as well as the placement of record sheets.
In addition, the importance of employee participation and promotion of improvement projects was discussed, as well as the company’s support for the modification of the production line for tooling fabrication and quality month activities.Lean Improvement
Mr. Ni also highlighted the live sharing of the lean “value stream” in the metal workshop, and hoped that each department could make a value stream sharing. He also emphasized the importance of value stream analysis training and exercises.
He emphasized that Lean improvement is not something that can be done overnight, but requires long-term persistence and continuous improvement.
He also called on all departments to actively promote improvement and raised the need for the company to support the engineering department in remodeling the production line.
Finally, Mr. Ni suggested that the Personnel and Administration Department should include the lean work in the performance appraisal of each department head.

Currently Lean improvement projects are dominated by the operations business units and engineering departments, with no new projects added to the raw material pool this month, and a total of 111 improvement projects reported cumulatively from October, 94 in September (rolling cumulative), and an increase in the number of 17 projects this month;
Lean production line improvement was 1 item (DNTRS-630);
In October, we completed the “Value Stream” analysis training and planned on-site exercises for frontline staff to deepen their understanding of the use of the tool.
Finally, Mr. Yi, Cathy Chi and Mr. Ni awarded the red flag and black flag departments in October and asked the black flag departments to reflect on themselves and analyze the reasons and make improvements.
The conference provided an important opportunity to review and look forward to the company’s Lean improvement program. Through in-depth analysis of existing problems and identification of potential improvement opportunities, the Company will continue to promote the extensive application of Lean Management in all business units of the Company to achieve higher efficiency and better quality.
In the future, the Company will continue to strengthen the promotion of Lean improvement programs and encourage all employees to actively participate and work together to achieve operational excellence.
