On June 23, Han Xigen, deputy director of the Power Distribution Research Institute of China Electric Power Research Institute, visited GRL Electric for research and exchange and discussion with the GRL technical team.

The main purpose of Director Han’s visit is to communicate with various electrical manufacturers about the temperature rise of fuse-type disconnectors in the “Standardized Design Scheme of State Grid Integrated Distribution Box”.Expert exchange

Director Han talked about the ideas and methods to solve the temperature rise of the integrated distribution box (JP cabinet):

One is open source.

For how to open source? Director Han mentioned that, for example, on the premise of meeting the requirements of IP44 protection level, the heat dissipation capacity should be increased.

The second is throttling

For how to throttle? Director Han mentioned that in the current JP cabinet power distribution scheme, the incoming line is fused by a knife, and the outgoing circuit is a circuit breaker with leakage current.
