In order to enhance employees’ awareness of fire safety and their ability to respond to sudden accidents, on the afternoon of June 12th, GRL held a fire safety knowledge training and exercise event, in which all employees of the company participated.

Teacher Liu also introduced the knowledge of portable fire extinguishers to the employees. Generally speaking, portable fire extinguishers include dry powder extinguisher, carbon dioxide extinguisher, foam extinguisher and other common types.

Next, Teacher Liu demonstrated how to use dry powder fire extinguishers correctly. He introduced the pressure gauge and valve on the fire extinguisher, as well as how to align the fire extinguisher with the fire source for operation. Teacher Liu also advised employees to maintain a distance when using to prevent the spread of fire or damage from scorching airflow.

Finally, Teacher Liu organized all employees to conduct practical exercises. The employees divided into groups and cooperated with each other, using fire extinguishers to simulate fire extinguishing. In practice, employees have mastered skills such as how to correctly select fire extinguishers, how to aim and spray operations, and which type of fire extinguisher to use when encountering different types of fires.
