In order to improve the fire awareness of the production staff and enhance the staff’s ability to respond to emergencies and protect themselves, GRL conducted a fire drill on June 15.Through this exercise, each employee acquires certain  fire protection knowledge and self-protection skills.

Participants in this exercise include:

Fuse workshop, isolating switch workshop, knife switch workshop, changeover switch workshop, busbar system workshop,Power Control Solutions Design Department.

This exercise mainly includes the following:

1. Learn fire fighting knowledge and the use of fire fighting equipment, and master fire escape skills;
2. Tested the feasibility of the “fire relief plan” of the project department, the speed of each rescue team in emergency situations, and how to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment during the process rescue.
3. Simulated a fire escape drill, demonstrated the tutorial of extinguishing fire with a fire extinguisher, and performed fire extinguishing experience with a fire extinguisher on site.

Under the organization of the knife switch emergency management team, the employees held a fire  drill.

The scene is that the skyscraper is on fire and the employees are using their firefighting skills to escape:

When the fire breaks out and the fire has not yet started, you can protect yourself by covering your mouth and nose with a damp towel and  try to lean forward when running away.

The knife switch emergency leadership team warned employees to remain calm and evacuate in an organized and orderly manner when faced with an emergency.

The head of the knife switch workshop emphasized the fire hazards, reminding the employees that they need to deepen their understanding and knowledge of fire prevention. And develop good peacetime habits  to prevent problems before they arise.

Then the director of the knife switch workshop gave a fire extinguishing explanation. When using a fire extinguisher, it is necessary to stand in the direction upwind  of the fire source and keep a safe distance of one to two meters from the fire source to avoid being burned by the flames.

Afterwards, the director of the fuse workshop demonstrated the fire extinguisher tutorial to our staff. After reading it, the staff were eager to try it out. Some staff  had the opportunity to participate in the fire experience. They conveyed their own feelings and understanding of fire fighting knowledge to every staff member.

Through this fire drill, the safety awareness of all employees has been improved, the common sense of fire safety has been further understood, and the emergency response ability to deal with emergencies has been improved. Most  drill site employees can organize themselves effectively  and respond quickly  to a fire alarm. In response, most  rescue team leaders can effectively organize the evacuation, alert and put into team members’ fire operations, which will improve emergency response  in the future. During the exercise, the team cohesion of the employees has been sublimated. The organizational ability, command ability and emergency response ability of the emergency leading group have also been
e closely to deal with emergencies. Once they receive an instruction to deal with emergencies, they must quickly execute them while ensuring their own safety. No excuse or refusal to perform. Only in this way can GRL be a collective with fighting ability and execution ability.
