GRL Busbar System – Promoting Cloud Infrastructure in The 5G Era
Alibaba Group built a big data center in Langfang in 2021. GRL became Alibaba’s third-tier supplier, offering busbar system products in headhunting cabinets.
Client Needs
Provide a compact electrical busbar system for Cabinet power distribution unit to meet the needs of small space and multi-circuit complete solutions. With 3 phase busbar system, the backup circuit is activated quickly when the main circuit fails.
Alibaba needs to provide a compact electrical busbar system for cabinet power distribution units to meet the needs of small space multi-circuit complete solutions. GRL uses a three-phase busbar system to solve this problem. When the main circuit fails, the backup circuit starts quickly.
Customer Challenge
The power distribution cabinet in the computer room is generally designed to be more than 32 channels, which requires extremely high space. When a product fails, Alibaba will lose millions of dollars per second. If this problem cannot be solved quickly, it will cause huge losses.
Solution
GRL applied the power bus system to the cabinet power distribution unit of the Alibaba data center. We used the MCCB as the main switch. At the same time, we have adopted a dedicated control panel busbar system terminal to connect the busbar and the main switch.
Our engineers connected the 32-way MCB to the copper bar through the busbar connection system adapter. We install ATS in front of MCCB and connect the main circuit and backup circuit. Finally, the busbar power distribution system cover encloses the entire system to form a complete data center power distribution.
Application
GRL offers systems with industrial busbars to achieve compact space requirements. The PC ATS acts as a transformer switch for fast switching when the main circuit fails. The busbar system and copper busbars have no holes to speed up maintenance. The panel busbar system adopts a dedicated MCB with an indicator light to quickly find the faulty circuit.
