The knife switch products of GRL Electric are widely used in the distribution boxes of China Southern Power Grid projects.
Client Needs
In the early stage of cooperation, there are many key factors that GRL Electric’s old-fashioned knife switch could not meet the requirements. In terms of performance, taking HD11-200A as an example, the short-term withstand current must reach 10kA, the temperature rise performance must be less than 65K. In terms of structure, in order to facilitate wiring, the knife switch must match the size of the short circuit.
Solution
GRL Electric can make huge changes to the knife switch.
In the material, the use of flame retardant, anti-static insulation materials to ensure safe use.
In order to meet the electrical performance of the knife switch, GRL Electric has changed the contact structure of the knife switch, and completely adopts the red copper material. After testing, the new HD11F-200A knife switch, the short-time withstand current meets 10kA, and the temperature rise outside the cabinet is less than 45K.
In order to improve the user experience, GRL changed the contact position to match the molded case circuit breaker, and there is no need to bend the wires when wiring.
